Peppermint Whipped Cream

A delicious whipped cream that is delicious served in hot chocolate.  This is particularly good to have during the Holiday season.

Ingredients:

  • 6 red and white peppermint candy canes or 24 red and white mini peppermint candy canes
  • 2 cups whipping cream

Unwrap the peppermint candy canes and process in a blender or food processor until they are a fairly fine powder.

In another bowl, whip the cream until firm. 

Fold the candy cane powder into the cream.  Use immediately to top hot chocolate.  Refrigerate any leftovers.

It is helpful to chill your bowl and beaters before whipping the cream.
