Place whatever kind of nuts you desire in a dry skillet over medium-high heat. Stir or toss the nuts around in the skillet until they start turning a little brown and you start to smell them. Be careful, as they burn rapidly. Use in whatever recipe that calls for toasted nuts. Walnuts, pecans, almonds, pine nuts, etc. All of these nuts can be toasted using this method.
